We’ve discussed the DiaMobile XL before in this blog post. DiaMobile is a portable rough diamond scanner that enables scanning of rough diamonds on the go. Diamond measurement and analysis are provided by Advisor® rough planning software, which is installed on a laptop plugged in to the DiaMobile device.
Advisor is the world’s leading diamond analysis and measurement software that plans the rough diamond with high accuracy. Advisor 7.5, the latest version, was recently released. Advisor is an excellent tool at diamond tenders, giving the buyer advanced information about the diamond’s possible planning options, and helping to make the right purchase decision.
The combination of the DiaMobile device and Advisor software is a portable rough planning solution that rough diamond buyers can use during diamond tenders to provide a thorough, accurate understanding of the potential of the rough diamond.
However, operation of Advisor software requires an internet connection, which means that it cannot necessarily be used in every diamond tender situation. That’s why we’ve developed the new Advisor® Tender 1.0, an offline version based on Advisor® 5.3.

Advisor Tender 1.0 is designed to work with the latest Windows operating system and with DiaMobile XL and DiaScan S+ systems in tenders where no internet connection is available.

Advisor Tender 1.0: Features & Compatibility
Advisor Tender 1.0 is supported by Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and Windows 10 Pro. Advisor Tender is compatible with both the DiaMobile XL and DiaScan S+ systems, or can be used as a standalone station. These scanners do not support laser marking, Galaxy® files or mix mapping, therefore those features are disabled in Advisor Tender.
In addition, Advisor Tender has a unique file format that can be opened by Advisor Tender versions only. Rough diamonds scanned by this version cannot be opened by any other Advisor version.
Previous versions of Advisor 5.3 were not supported by Windows 10. Now, with Advisor Tender 1.0, diamond buyers can use an offline version of Advisor rough planning software with the latest Windows OS, wherever and whenever they need.
